Why Carlisle Ballet?

-Small class sizes

Classes are age and ability appropriate. If the dance class has fewer children in it each child will receive more personal attention, learn more, and have more fun. With younger students it is easier for the teacher to maintain control over the class and make sure each student understands the concepts and instructions. Our small class size ensures that no fundamental concepts are missed.

Our studio limits all of our PreBallet classes to 8-10 students and Beginner classes to 10-12 students per class.

-A supportive dance environment

We offer a supportive dance environment that promotes proper training and technique. Younger children are introduced to ballet in a positive and pleasant environment. More advanced students are given expert and encouraging training in ballet. All students were given the opportunity to participate in the year end ballet performance.

The Carlisle Ballet offers an interactive class in the Fall and Spring for you to observe your child in their class. We also installed a two-way mirror on the door to the studio that allows you to observe your child on a daily basis.

-Professional Teachers

Our teachers spend quality time with the students as a group and individually providing instruction and encouragement. They reinforce the fundamentals of classical ballet while maintaining the freedom of expression and a positive learning environment. Our teachers possess extensive training and education in all fields of dance.

Carlisle Ballet offers a large new 60ft X 30 ft dance studio complete with:

• Sprung floor
  ( A floating floor is a dance floor that rests on a system of high density foam, to absorb the shock of jumping, reduce fatigue and prevent injury.)
